Zoom security: Hide profile pictures & Suspend participants activities

Zoom 5.4.3, allows the host to Hide Profile Pictures and Suspend Participants Activities. Hide profile pictures will disable showing profile pictures and only show people's names. Suspend participants activity will enable the waiting room, lock the meeting, and hide profile pictures. It also disables or turns off participant features such as chat and share screen and start video along with other participant features.

Suspend Participants Activity

In the Security icon is "suspend participants activity". This is new with 5.4.3.
Clicking suspend participants activity will prompt you to report to Zoom. You receive the message on your screen "Everyone’s video and audio will be turned off, screen sharing will stop, and the meeting will be locked." You can remove the check mark if you don't want to report to Zoom.

The following three features will be enabled or turned on with Suspend Participants Activity:
1) Lock Meeting
2) Enable Waiting Room
3) Hide Profile Picture

Suspend Participants Activity will also disable or turn off these participants features:
1) Share Screen
2) Chat
3) Rename Themselves
4) Unmute Themselves
5) Start Video

Zoom 5.4.3 was released on November 16, 2020
