Western Red Cedar Bowl - Never Again! - Wood turning

I got an offcut of Western Red Cedar approximately 8 square by 3 inches (200mm x 200mm x 75mm).

I couldn't believe how light this wood was, which made me treat it a little like pine.

Hindsight is a wonderful thing, but for some reason I didn't use a tenon... lessons learned etc!

Anyway, the grain and smell of this bowl is fantastic. Thanks for watching.
