Bitcoin pumped 6.33% on the daily close. Wick to wick nearly a 10% move. The headline: a TBO close short printed. That orange diamond is a bullish reversal signal and the last time BTC printed one was April 12th 2025. After that one the price sprang from $83K to $126K. Do I think the same thing happens this time? No. 2025 was a top year and 2026 is a bottom year.

The 2022 comparison matters. In February 2022 we saw two TBO close shorts on similar moves. BTC still fell a lot lower after that. The macro trend won. So close shorts during bottom years are not automatic buy signals.

The bear flag is not dead. We now have a higher low and finally a higher high, which means we should see another higher low around $65K and maybe a push to $76K. Next resistance: $74,650 lining up with the previous pivot low from April 7th 2025. If BTC closes above that level with conviction, I might change my tune. I don't expect it.

Daily volume hit $3.2B versus the 32-day MA at $2B. RSI closed at 69.75. OBV technically bullish but we saw the same setup in December and January before each move rolled over. On the weekly: BTC is back inside the cloud. TBO support jumped from $16.5K to $65.2K. RSI printing a reset. But weekly volume at $7.5B is still well below the MA at $13B.

ETH putting in a legit bear flag with higher lows and higher highs. Resistance at $2,152. Stablecoin dominance showing TBT bearish divergences. BTC dominance jumped 1.02% in a single day. Others dominance printed a TBO close long.

Bullish signals: Solana, BNB, XMR, Mantle, Cake with TBO breakouts on 4H. Tron, Uniswap, VIRTUAL, SPX6900 all printed TBO close shorts. AXL printed its first ever TBT bullish divergence cluster. DOGE TBT bullish divergence after pumping to 10 cents.

Bearish warnings: Hype RSI retracing from overbought. Power Protocol dropped 90% in one day after an 864% run. This is why we take profits on the way up.

TradFi: DXY pulled back. S&P up 0.75%. VIX dropped below the rejection range. UK oil still climbing. Gold bouncing after Tuesday's rejection.

The TBO close short is a big deal. But bottom years are not rally years. Expected pullback target: fast line at $69,226. The bear flag lives until the evidence says otherwise.
