Ingredients

Spaghetti Seasoning
• 1/2 tsp salt
• 1/2 tsp pepper
• 1 1/2 tsp sazon
• 1/2 tbsp garlic powder
• 1/2 tbsp onion powder
• 1/2 tbsp Italian seasoning
• 1 tsp ground thyme
• 2 tsp crushed red pepper (less or more depending on desired spice level)

• 1 lb ground beef or turkey
• 1 lb sweet Italian sausage
• 1/2 yellow onion, diced
• 1 green pepper, diced
• 3-4 tbsp minced garlic
• 5-7 dashes of Worcestershire sauce
• 6 oz tomato paste
• 14 oz Italian style petite diced tomatoes
• 28 oz crushed tomatoes
• 14-28 oz water, depending on how loose or thick you like your sauce
• 2-3 tbsp tomato bouillon powder
• sugar to taste
• 1/3 cup heavy cream
• parmesan rind (optional)
• 2 bay leaves
• 1 1/2 boxes thin spaghetti noodles, boiled in salt water


Instructions

in a large pot saute onions & peppers in olive oil until translucent
add minced garlic & cook until fragrant then add a dash of salt
add in ground beef/turkey & Italian sausage; break down with spatula & cook halfway through
stir in spaghetti seasoning & continue cooking until meat is done
add in Worcestershire sauce, stir, then stir in tomato paste & let cook for 3-4 mins
add in diced tomatoes, crushed tomatoes & water then stir until combined; bring to a simmer
stir in tomato bouillon, pepper & sugar; at this point you’ll want to taste for sweetness & salt. Add sugar &/or salt as needed to your taste
stir in heavy cream then add Parmesan rind & bay leaves; cover & let simmer on low for 30-60 mins
uncover & remove Parmesan rind & bay leaves
stir in spaghetti noodles then serve topped with freshly grated Parmesan cheese
