B-Meowsic I started as an attempt at recreating one of the B-Meowsic drum patterns on Jummbox, hence the name. I almost scrapped this for sounding too generic mid-production, but I'm pretty happy with it

Cat Canvas is related to Draw a Cat. A mode where you can compose your own songs using rudimentary samples & synths ala Mario Paint composer.

Waterfront Booossa is a cover of .numa's Waterfront Boost. I had the idea to make their song into picopop style since 2020, when I started working on it for the first time. Was finally finished in March 2022, year I started working on the Animal Café idea again.

I think Sylvester the Cat wouldn't listen to Sylvester the Cat.

Lastly, 'Possum's Birthday was made in July after I willingly listened to Car Seat Headrest's Twin Fantasy for no fucking reason. It was the 2011 and I didn't understand a single word, but the instrumentals were so nice I listened to the whole thing. That day I ate a doughnut
I tried to get a similar quality on Ultrabox, just before it allowed custom samples, meaning I used the default ones. This song is a little sweeter, with more serene and upbeat chords and silly B-Meowsic-esque synths.
The last song is dedicated to Obst, the opossum. More info on the album art

This album was overall inspired by Shibuya-kei and its offshoot genre Picopop, particularly by early era Capsule, COPTER4016882, Nagisa Cosmetic and the Mojipittan Daijiten OST, pieces of content that had a huuuge influence on my style a few years back.
