Fishing Panguitch Lake (Summer, July), Panguitch, Utah

The weather is awesome in the middle of summer on a lake that sits at an elevation of 8200ft, albeit a thunderstorm may show up. Getting away from the July heat, we rolled up to Panguitch Lake to try our luck.
Starting by trolling Rattltraps, we had some strikes and landed a couple. Moved to bait but lost interest after a short while and decided to go back to trolling. Switching to a deeper diving Shad Rap, we really found the trout. Trolling north and south shores as well as the middle of the lake, we caught fish everywhere! Panguitch Lake definitely deserves a return trip!
