The Grand Raid de La Réunion is called Diagonale des fous for a reason: It's a legendary race - one of the craziest worldwide. A must for every trail-runner. The itinary crosses the French island of La Réunion from South to North on very technical grounds and has high altitude gains up to 2000m.
I am so happy and grateful I participated in this wonderful and unique experience.
