The crumbled egg yolks on mimoza salata are reminiscent of the yellow Australia Wattle flowers, thus the name. A fancy layered salad with its impressive & pretty presentation using common affordable ingredients. If you don't like tuna, you can use salmon or even chicken instead. Mimosa Salad actually has no relationship to the orange champagne alcoholic beverage, but it is named after a native flowering yellow Australian wattle, also known as Mimosa. The bright yellow flowers are often given to women on International Women's Day.

Ingredients:
Potatoes 2
Tuna Fish 2 cans
Onions 1/2 pc
Carrot 2 pcs
Eggs 6
Salt for taste
Black pepper for taste
Mayonnaise for taste

材料:
土豆(马铃薯) 2个
吞拿鱼(金枪鱼) 2罐
洋葱 1/2个
胡萝卜 2条
鸡蛋 6颗
盐 少许
黑胡椒 少许
美乃滋 适量

Preparation & Instructions:
1. Peel potatoes, then boiled potatoes until tender. Shred or grate potatoes.
2. Peel carrot, then boiled carrots until tender. Shred or grate carrots.
3. Boil the eggs, peel the shell off & put it in a bowl.
4. Separate the white & yolk of 1 hard-boiled egg.
5. Press the egg yolk through a strainer with a spoon & store in a bowl for later use.
6. Shred or grade all the hard-boiled eggs.
7. Slice & dice an onion, marinade in a bowl using 2tbsp vinegar + 1/4 tsp Salt + 1 tbsp sugar + 100ml water.
8. Open canned tuna, drain out the liquid.
9. Chop the dill.
10. Using mousse cake mold or ring, insert an acetate cake collar that is slightly higher than the cake mould. Secure using a paperclip.

Creating Salad Layers:
1. Potato + Salt + Pepper + Mayonnaise:
Start adding shredded potatoes, add salt & pepper, then use a flat glass bottom to press down evenly. Apply a generous amount of Japanese Kewpie mayonnaise.
2. Tuna + Mayonnaise:
Add tuna, then use a flat glass to press down evenly. Apply & spread a layer of mayo.
3. Pickle Onion + Mayonnaise:
Drain & add pickled onions, use a flat glass to press down evenly. Apply & spread a layer of mayo.
4. Egg + Salt + Pepper + Mayonnaise:
Add the eggs, add salt & pepper, use a flat glass to press down evenly. Apply & spread a layer of mayo.
5. Carrot + Salt + Pepper + Mayonnaise:
Add carrots, add salt & pepper, use a flat glass to press down evenly. Apply & spread a layer of mayo.
6. Last layer (Dill + Cherry Tomato + Egg Yolk):
Place sliced cherry/grape tomatoes in the center of the circle. Gently place chopped dill on the outside of the tomatoes. Slowly sprinkle the egg yolks in the center.

4. 鸡蛋+盐+黑胡椒+美乃滋(蛋黄酱):
加入鸡蛋,洒适量的盐和胡椒粉,用一个平底玻璃杯把它均匀地压平压实。 均匀地涂抹一层美乃滋(蛋黄酱)。
5. 胡萝卜+盐+黑胡椒+美乃滋(蛋黄酱):
加入胡萝卜,洒适量的盐和胡椒粉,用一个平底玻璃杯把它均匀地压平压实。 均匀地涂抹一层美乃滋(蛋黄酱)。
6. 最后一层 (莳萝叶+小番茄片+蛋黄):
将切成片的樱桃小番茄围一个圈。将切碎的莳萝轻轻地放在小番茄的外圈。慢慢地将蛋黄撒在小番茄的内圈。
