This Freestyle Drill Tutorial is Shark Fin, otherwise known as Zipper Drill. A great progression from our previous film Swordfish Kick (   • FREESTYLE SWORDFISH KICK | Improve Yo...   ); training freestyle technique, body positioning and breathing technique!!

When swimming freestyle it is key not to waste energy and rest during the over arm recovery phase of the stroke. One of the common freestyle mistakes is for swimmers to drop their elbow height and engage their arm muscles more than necessary.

This freestyle tutorial is designed to help you learn to swim efficiently and how to obtain a perfect high elbow freestyle stroke.
