Jammu Kashmir Encounter: Four Army Personnel, Including Major, Killed In Another J&K Encounter

Jammu Kashmir Encounter: Four army personnel, including a Major-rank officer, succumbed to injuries after an encounter in the Desa forests of Doda district, Jammu and Kashmir, on Monday night. Five soldiers sustained bullet injuries while chasing terrorists who fled after a brief firefight. The White Knight Corps confirmed the injuries but did not provide details, stating that contact with terrorists was established around 9 PM, leading to a heavy firefight. Additional reinforcements have been dispatched, and operations are ongoing. The encounter began when terrorists opened fire on security forces conducting searches in the area. Following a spate of terror attacks, joint combing and search operations have been launched across Jammu division.
