Takahashi x Tachibana

This video consists of excerpts from interviews of Yukihiro Takahashi and Hajime Tachibana in 1984, as well as of the latter in 2022.

The footage from 1984 was taken from a video made to be shown during an event for the YEN Records fan club “YEN Yukai” (“Friends of YEN”). The interviews were held at LDK Studios during the recording of Tachibana’s Mr.TECHIE & MISS KIPPLE, and offers a glimpse into the thinking between their pioneering work.

In the 2022 interview (at the beginning of the video), Tachibana reflects on his relationship with Yukihiro Takahashi, and what it was like to be a touring member of his band.
