Chahlari Ghat Bridge (also called Chahlari Ghat Setu) is a bridge over the river Ghaghra connecting Bahraich in the east to Sitapur in the west of Uttar Pradesh. Its length is 3,260 metres (10,700 ft) and it is the tenth longest river bridge in India and longest road bridge over river in Uttar Pradesh. In 2006 PWD Minister UP, Mr. Shivpal Singh Yadav, laid stone of this bridge,completing the promise of an old socialist leader Mukhtar Anis who led thousands of people from Reusa to Lucknow on foot for this bridge. Bridge completed in 2017 when the erstwhile chief minister Akhilesh Yadav inaugrated it.

About Bahraich-
Bahraich is a city and a municipal board in Bahraich district in the state of Uttar Pradesh, India. Located on the Saryu River, a tributary of the Ghaghara river, Bahraich is 125 kilometres (78 miles) north-east of Lucknow, the state capital. The towns of Barabanki, Gonda, Balrampur, Lakhimpur and Sitapur share local boundaries with Bahraich. A factor which makes this town important is the international border shared with Nepal.
Bahraich is divided into two parliamentary constituencies, Bahraich and Kaiserganj. The former is held by Savitri Bai Phule of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the latter by Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh, also of the BJP.
Bahraich is well connected with other districts of Uttar Pradesh. UPSRTC provides road connectivity to Lucknow, Kanpur, Allahabad, Varanasi, Bareilly, Haridwar, Delhi, Balrampur, Gonda, Barabanki, Pratapgarh, Shimla, Mathura, Banda, Jaunpur, Gorakhpur, Varanasi, Shrawasti and Agra. There are buses for Lucknow in every 15 minutes. National Highway 927 (India) connects the city to Barabanki and state capital Lucknow.

About Sitapur-
Sitapur is a city and a municipal board in Sitapur district in the state of Uttar Pradesh, India. It is in the Lucknow Division. The town is located on the banks of river Sarayan, halfway between Lucknow and Shahjahanpur and is well connected to state capital Lucknow by the National Highway No. 24. In British India, it was spelled as Citapore and was a cantonment, garrisoned by a portion of a British regiment. The traditional origin for the name is said to be by the King Vikramāditya from Lord Ram's wife Sita.
The district is divided into 7 tehsils: Sitapur, Biswan, Mishrikh, Maholi, Laharpur, Mahmoodabad and Sidhauli. There are 19 blocks, 2 parliamentary constituencies (Sitapur, Mishrikh (SC)) and 9 assembly constituencies (sewta, Biswan, Mahmoodabad, Sidhauli (SC), Laharpur, Sitapur, Hargaon (SC), Mishrikh and Maholi). Total population of the district is 28.57 lakh and the area is 5743 km2. There are 2348 census villages and 1601 Gram Panchayats in the district.
