The FM instruments other than the bass are the original tracks rendered with the PC-88 sound programming/emulation software, a Mucom88Win(mml2vgmIDE). The rhythm part is replaced with a real Roland TR-909, the legendary drum machine of the 80s. The bass sound is Plogue OPS7, an accurate YAMAHA DX-7 emulation plugin. Also, all the tracks applied the Decimort2 to make the sound slightly fatter (like the AKAI MPC60), making you feel nostalgic for the time those machines came out. I didn’t expect the real TR-909 sound really matches the original song like this.
