Despite a lucrative sponsorship deal with Omar's Kebabs Jeb was officially broke. Some ill advised property investments, all month partying and one too many trips to the dog track had bled him dry. Such was desperate state off affairs that Jeb would be reduced to hauling cargo just to make bank!

In order to complete his run Jeb would be taking the reigns of the Mastodon heavy transport aircraft, which has earned a reputation as a slow, stable and reliable transport. Or at least it did until Jeb bribed the base mechanic to fit high performance, super charged engines normally found on SSTOs. Admittedly the gas mileage wouldn't be great but seeing as Jeb had the company fuel card it wasn't really an issue.

Assuming the wings didn't melt or the engines blow up Jeb should just about be able to clear his run in time for cocktail hour at Skanky Joes, the race was on!

Heh all, hope you're keeping well. I'm afraid I've been having a few PC issues but happily I still made this months upload (just). I'm quite pleased with this latest design, especially the handling which is fantastic for such a large aircraft. In fact it's so agile it's possible to rip the wings and/or engines off the body during extreme G turns! It's been fun building with Mk3 parts as their not something I generally use in my KSP builds.
