During this second session, Alexis Sablone spoke about the importance of engaging with the urban landscape through play; Sameep Padora showed us an extraordinary new center for arts in the UNESCO-protected village of Hampi; and Niklas Bildstein Zaar of SUB explained how his studio manifests the concepts of some of the world’s biggest and best-known brands as physical spaces. Then, in a conversation moderated by Asima Jansveld, the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art’s architect Ma Yansong and its director Sandra Jackson-Dumont introduced the project for the first time, and discussed how and why we shouldn’t have to separate architecture and nature when we build.

Returning to the Guggenheim for the fourth year, the sold-out event gathered multi-hyphenate lineup of practitioners from across the globe in New York, and shared the now, near and next of contemporary architecture with a packed auditorium and the global audience who watched live online. Thank you to everyone who joined us!

If you missed any of the presentations, we’ll be posting the individual videos on our website and YouTube channel over the coming weeks. Make sure you’re subscribed to our newsletter for updates, and don’t forget to follow us on LinkedIn too.
