"You can't do this to me and Chloe!" Nicole cried, watching her husband pack.
"Do what? Betray you? Is that what you think?" Todd was furious.
"Isn't that what it is? It's betrayal! You're not only leaving me but also our daughter who adores you!"
"Don't exaggerate. I'm not abandoning our daughter. I'll see her regularly."
"Regularly, like on Saturdays? Do you think that's enough for a girl her age? Or do you think she'll forgive you when she finds out you're leaving us for a mistress?"
"Then don't say her I'm leaving for a mistress. We're just going to live apart for a while."
"What? Do you want me to lie to our daughter? That's repugnant! You can't even count on that!"
