Snow Skin Mooncakes de Osmanthus y coco

¡Ya estoy de vuelta! Espero que hayáis pasado un verano fabuloso. Ya sabéis que tengo una debilidad, bueno varias, y entre ellas es la gastronomía y cultura oriental. Dentro de poco se celebra el festival de medio otoño chino (17 septiembre de 2024) y para celebrarlo os traigo estos maravillosos Snow Skin Mooncakes con un relleno de flor de osmanthus y coco, desde aquí doy las gracias a ‪@JasmaFusionCuisine‬ por el maravilloso relleno.

La flor de osmanthus, también conocida como olivo fragante (Osmanthus fragrans), es una planta originaria de Asia, especialmente apreciada en países como China, Japón y Corea. Es famosa por su delicado aroma dulce y afrutado, que recuerda a una combinación de melocotón, albaricoque y jazmín. Las flores son pequeñas y generalmente blancas, amarillas o anaranjadas.

En China, se le asocia con la llegada del otoño, ya que florece durante esta estación. Tiene un significado simbólico, se relaciona con la longevidad, el amor y la buena fortuna, y suele utilizarse en ceremonias tradicionales. El osmanthus tiene un lugar especial en la poesía y el arte chinos, donde a menudo se asocia con la belleza femenina, el romance y la nobleza de carácter. En las leyendas, se dice que un árbol de osmanthus crece
en la luna, vinculado a la mitología de la festividad del Medio Otoño.

Soon will be celebrated the Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival (September 17, 2024) and to celebrate it I bring you these wonderful Snow Skin Mooncakes with a filling of osmanthus flower and coconut, from here I thank @JasmaFusionCuisine for the wonderful filling.
