Donald Trump continues to waffle on the issue of women's reproductive health freedom, and during a campaign stop last week he bragged about the fact that "everyone" wanted him to overturn Roe v. Wade. Trump then went even further and said that even most Democrats wanted him to overturn it, before admitting that they wanted it a long time ago. Donald Trump can't seem to make up his mind about which side of the abortion argument he's actually on. We know that in recent months, he has been all over the place on the issue telling Republicans like, Hey, don't talk about it. It's killing you. And then turning around and talking about it, about it, saying that, Hey, I'm the one who packed the Supreme Court that overturned Rovers is Wade. Right? Right. And then coming out saying, no, the States should do it, and then maybe we should have a national ban. And he doesn't know where he stands. But this past week during his rally in Michigan, on Wednesday, Donald Trump once again went to boasting about being the guy that overturned Roe v. Wade. And he says that everybody loves that, including Democrats and liberals. Here's what Trump said. Every legal scholar wanted this to be done. Most Democrats wanted it, liberals wanted it. This was a while ago. And then they changed their minds. They viewed it as a political deal.

Now, I don't even know what that means, like they viewed it as a political deal. Uh, but it's the Republicans that have made this a political issue for 50 years, and luckily for Donald Trump, we're able to fact check him because we have polls going back literally 50 years, eh, technically 49. But, you know, give or take one year, what's it matter? Polls going back to 1975, actually show that a majority of Democrats, majority of liberals, agreed with the Supreme Court's ruling in Roe v. Wade, they wanted abortion to be legal here in the United States for 50 years. The Democrats have not waffled on their position, whereas Donald Trump has waffled on his position about a dozen times in the last three months. Eddie's out there boasting about it. Again, I'm the guy that did this. Legal scholars agreed with me. No, they didn't. I'm sure conservative ones did, because they've always hated Roe v.

Wade. But Democrats didn't agree with it. Liberals didn't agree with it. And in fact, according to the most recent polling, most Americans don't agree with it. The latest polling on the issue, so shows that 65% of Americans are not happy about Roe v. Wade being overturned, and they want abortion to be legal. 65%. The abortion issue is no longer a winning issue for Republicans for 50 years in this country. They campaigned on that, and they were very successful with it, but they were only su uh, successful with it, excuse me, because they didn't actually do anything about it. You know, you keep dangling that shiny thing in front of these Republican voters, like, oh, we gotta get, oh, you gotta get the shiny thing, get the shiny thing. The shiny thing was restricting abortion and Republicans for 50 years and 50 years, you know, kept voting for it, kept voting for it. Let's get these people, let's outlaw it. And then it finally happens. And then once it happens, these Republican voters like, oh, wow, this, this,

This is not good. Nope, nope, nope. And they are, they are the ones who have had the change of heart, not the liberals, not the Democrats, it's the conservatives that have realized how horrifying this truly is. So Trump is wrong on so many points here, but I do encourage him, keep bragging about it. Let's see how that plays out for you in November.
