-Population estimate is about 36,000 and growing.
-situated northeast of Columbus, Ohio in Franklin County
-currently served by Mayor Laurie Jadwin.
-Founded along the Big Walnut Creek in 1849 by John Clark of Ross County; land that his father, Joseph Clark, had purchased from Governor Worthington. Clark named his property the "Gahanna Plantation".
