I Left Figs In My Garage for Months And Now I'm Trying To Root Them Into New Fig Trees!

Hey Fig Fam,

I had a lot of leftover fig cuttings from my fridge and I needed to make space in my fridge. I was still hopeful I could hold out on these poorly stored fig cuttings in my crisper drawer and with the cool weather at the time of late winter / early spring, I threw them in my garage to stay.

Well I forgot about them. and months later as the weather warmed it was no longer a safe place for the cuttings to be stored, but I was busy. So they remained in my garage until this week when I decided to give them a go a propagation and rooting them into trees.

To make matters worse I had run out of fresh rooting & potting mix and I had to work with the old stuff laying around in my nursery!

So this is what I did to remediate the cuttings and hopefully found some viable cuttings and soil for them to grow in this warm weather outside...
