GBO2 Delta Plus (Post-Buff): Is the fighter jet raid too good?!

Описание к видео GBO2 Delta Plus (Post-Buff): Is the fighter jet raid too good?!

This video contains two rated matches I had with the recently buffed LV2 Delta Plus on Gundam Battle Operation 2. It is a 650-700 cost raid with great midrange DPS, good stagger accumulation and a powerful transformed mode which offers even higher damage potential. It suffers from a few weaknesses though, such as being easy to shoot down while transformed alongside having not that much HP. This suit was recently buffed with better damage across the board at LV2, LV3 Flight Control, 25% beam rifle uncharged shot heat and 80% charged shot heat, 8 seconds shield missile launcher reload time, +300 transformation mode beam rifle power and +200 transformation mode shield beam cannon power. I hope that you enjoy watching!

Its primary weapon at LV2 is a beam rifle with 1900 (3300) power, 25% (80%) heat, 0.6 seconds cooldown, 14 seconds overheat, 0.77 seconds swap time, 305m (555m) range, 3 seconds focus time and 50% (50%) stagger value. Uncharged shots deal great DPS and can stagger regular enemies with just two hits. Charged shots have much greater range alongside also instant staggering.
Its primary melee weapon is a beam saber with 3000 power, 2.5 seconds cooldown, 0.77 seconds swap time, standard swing modifiers with 80% combo modifier. It can deal pretty decent melee damage in two hit combos, but you shouldn't be going out of your way to use this unless it is for self defence.
Its first sub weapon is a head vulcan gun with 105 power, 30 ammo, 450 RPM, 10 seconds reload, 0.5 seconds swap, 175m range, 788 DPS and 5% stagger value. These take 2.66 seconds to stun and have meh DPS, making them not really worth using.
Its second sub weapon is a shield beam cannon with 2300 power, 80% heat, 4.7 seconds cooldown, 20 seconds overheat, 0.77 seconds swap, 400m range and 10% stagger value. This instant staggers and has pretty decent damage, it is useful as a tool to continue staggering with after using your beam rifle.
Its third sub weapon is a shield grenade launcher with 600x4 power, 4 ammo, 8 seconds reload, 0.5 seconds swap, 300m range and 35%x4 stagger value. This has short reload time and pretty good damage, making them useful as a combo ender to deal more damage with.
Its first transformed sub weapon is a beam rifle with 2000 power, 35% heat, 0.5 seconds cooldown, 14 seconds overheat, 0.77 seconds swap, 350m range and 50% stagger value. This basically works the same as your MS mode beam rifle, but on a separate heat gauge. You can combo right into this from an MS mode stagger if needed. It can also be fired while boosting.
Its second transformed sub weapon is a shield beam cannon with 2300 power, 100% heat, 20 seconds overheat, 0.5 seconds swap, 400m range and 10% stagger value. This instant stuns but comes at the cost of instantly overheating. It can also be fired while boosting.

The LV2 Delta Plus has 20000 HP, 24 ballistic resist, 30 beam resist and 24 melee resist. It has a pretty good defensive spread apart from its awful HP, it has the least HP of any 700 cost raid. Furthermore, it lacks LV3 or LV4 Maneuver Armor, being stuck with the LV2 version. It does get LV2 Emergency Evasion though.
In terms of mobility it has 135 (195) walking speed, 225 (235) boosting speed, 85 thrust and 72 (75) turning speed. Its MS mode mobility is nothing special, but it does benefit from LV2 Forced Injectors and LV3 Flight Control. Its mobility in waverider mode is incredible however, making it a very effective tool for retreating, going on the offensive or as a way to get around the map.
It has access to LV1 High Speed Ram Attack while in waverider mode. This boosts ram damage by 1000 and boosting speed by 5 after about 1 second of boosting. This means you can deal 3000 damage guaranteed with ram attacks, which pairs very nicely with your waverider mode exclusive weapons which can both be fired while boosting.

In conclusion, I feel that the Delta Plus has became powerful again as a result of the recent buffs it got. It was already kinda okay before, but now its ranged DPS has been improved in both modes, alongside its MS mode stagger output being improved. If you can find opportunities to rush the support down with your transformation mode then I think it is very powerful, squishier supports will die very quickly to this if you don't get shot down. I can definitely recommend it at 650 cost and maybe even at 700 cost if you are confident with it. Thanks for watching!
