Naduvathedath Illam is one of the oldest Brahmin houses in Kerala.It is situated at Areekode in Malappuram district of Kerala in the banks of Chaliyar river.
This Illam is known for its unique design of house.This Illam has got a history of about 500 years.The "Pathayam" ,the place where foodgrains are stored, is huge in this Illam.It can store about 40000 paras.This itself is a visual treat for old traditional home lovers.

It has also got some old items which is shown in this video.The land around this Illam was previously owned by ancestors of this Illam.It includes the whole panchayath in which it is situated.
