Places I visited in Pelling:

1. Pemyangtse Monastery - It is the 2nd oldest monastery in Sikkim, located around 2 km from Pelling town. It is a 300 yrs old monastery and you are sure to get a breathtaking view of mountain Kanchenjunga from this monastery. The camera is not allowed inside the monastery. You can visit it for religious purposes as well as to get a beautiful view of the mountains, which Sikkim is famous for.

2. Pelling Glass bridge Skywalk - This is India's first skywalk and you need to buy a ticket to enter this place. The ticket price is INR 100. The Pelling skywalk is 2.5 km in length. There is also a huge statue here that adds to the charm of this glass bridge. Chenrezig statue at Pelling is the 4th tallest statue you can find in Sikkim.

3. Khecheopalri Lake - It is a sacred lake worshipped by both Hindus and Buddhists. It is located 34 kilometres from Pelling town. This lake is also believed to be a wish-fulfilling lake.

4. Singshore Bridge - This man-made bridge is also the highest bridge in Sikkim and the 2nd highest bridge in Asia. It is located at an altitude of 240 metres above the sea-level. This may look like a simple bridge before you stand on it and once you stand on it, you can feel the thrill and the strong wind.
