On June 6, 2021, on the last weekend of the spring lockdown, we went for a one day canoe trip to Bon Echo Provincial Park. It’s famous for its huge rock with lots of Indigenous pictographs, but we discovered two lakes that were new to us - Joeperry Lake and Pearson Lake.
Amazingly, we were the only ones canoeing there that Sunday, and it gave us a chance to enjoy the pristine nature reserved all to ourselves.
