Fender American Professional II set up

Here I'm setting up Lawrence's Fender American Professional II Strat. This video gives a good 'real time' demonstration of how the 'Banana' fret levelling beam / method confirms (and corrects) the high E bend choke outs I detected when test-playing the guitar. The tool is diagnostic; not only does it reveal WHY the high E 16th fret bend was choking on the 17th fret but it shows all the other 'hills and valley's (groups of high and low frets) on the fretboard.
After the set up I intended to replace the tuners with Fender locking tuners and the scratchplate with a single-ply black one, but that didn't quite go to plan. The tuners were right-handed (!) and the scratchplate was designed for use on a Tele with a 'Strat single coil' neck pickup, not the typical Tele neck pickup with the chromed cover! So both of those upgrades had to be paused; along with the fitting of the new strings.
