Niseko-Shakotan-Otaru Coast Quasi-National Park "Blue Cave"
The Blue Cave is located within the Niseko-Shakotan-Otaru Coast Quasi-National Park.
It is a cave created entirely by the power of nature, untouched by human hands.
The natural light that shines into the cave makes the ocean surface appear blue.
It is a mysterious sight that can only be seen in places where various conditions are met,
such as the unique topography formed by seawater erosion and the degree of reflection from the seabed.

The tour I participated in this time was "Ryugu Cruise".
Unfortunately, the tour to the cave was canceled due to high waves, but the captain took us to a safe place along the way.
Although I couldn't see the cave, he introduced me to many spots along the way, and I was able to see the Shin-Nihonkai ferry that was moored at Otaru Port from the sea.
The captain's story was fun, and I was able to enjoy it even if I was alone.
I would like to participate again next time when the sea is calm.

ニセコ積丹小樽海岸国定公園「青の洞窟」
青の洞窟はニセコ積丹小樽海岸国定公園内にあります。
人の手が一切入っていない、自然の力だけで作られた洞窟です。
洞窟内に差し込む自然光により、海面が青く見えます。
海水の浸食によって形成された独特の地形や、海底からの反射の度合いなど、
さまざまな条件が揃った場所でしか見られない神秘的な光景です。

今回参加したのはツアーは「龍宮クルーズ」さん。
残念ながら高波のため、洞窟まで行くツアーは欠航となりましたが、船長さんが途中の安全な場所まで連れて行ってくれました。
洞窟は見れませんでしたが、途中の多くのスポットを紹介して下さり、小樽港に停泊していた新日本海フェリーも海から見ることができました。
船長さんのお話も楽しく一人参加でも十分楽しめました。
次回は海が穏やかな時にまた参加したいと思います。
