LOMO SALTADO
BEEF MARINADE
1.5 lbs beef, cubed
1.5 TBSP low sodium soy sauce
3 cloves minced garlic

LOMO SALTADO SAUCE
6 TBSP low sodium soy sauce
1.5 TBSP red vinegar
1.5 TBSP oyster sauce
2 tsp corn starch

ADDITIONAL INGREDIENTS
1 purple onion, cut into large chunks
8 cloves garlic, minced
5-6 roma tomatoes, quartered and de-seeded
French fries, cooked


1. Cut beef into cubes and marinate with 1.5 TBSP low sodium soy sauce and 3 cloves minced garlic. Set this aside and prep the rest of your ingredients

2. Prepare your purple onions, roma tomatoes, garlic and mix all of your ingredients listed under LOMO SALTADO SAUCE.

3. When everything is prepared, cook your marinated beef. I cooked it for 1 minute on each side (only for 2 of the side) — use high heat. Remove from heat and set aside.

4. In the same skillet or new one (I used a new one cause the original pan I used was too small), heat up some oil and cook purple onion for 1 minute.

5. Then add 8 cloves minced garlic and cook for another minute.

6. Then add your beef back in along with your cooked French fries and lomo saltado sauce. Give this a little mix before adding your tomatoes. Cook for another 30 seconds and then turn off heat. (Note: I like to add a dash of sugar to mine but you dont have too).

7. I like to eat this with rice =)
