Apply multiple spotlights at the same time in Camtasia 2020 | Multi-highlight tutorial

In this video I show you how to create two or more spotlight areas in Camtasia 2020 at the same time. In Camtasia, if you apply more than one spotlight annotation and they need to be on the screen at the same time (like highlighting two different regions of a clip simultaneously), it won't work as desired because each new spotlight will dim the other ones and your videoclip will fade and fade until it's not visible.

In this tutorial, we use a different approach to provide the same effect, but without the spotlight annotation. This still allows you to spotlight/highlight multiple areas on the screen at the same time. They can be any shape or size, the spotlight areas can have any location and they can all apply at the same time on the same clip. Plus, you can still animate the highlighted areas, resize them, move them around, etc.
