Motorhome stopover. The Wheatsheaf Hotel in Baslow, Peak District and a walk in Chatsworth Park.

The Slaws spend a lovely couple of days in the Peak District in their Hobby motorhome Helga. ‪@HobbyCaravan‬ with their two Lhasa apso dogs Billy & Jessie.

It's a beautiful drive over from Holmfirth in West Yorkshire into Derbyshire. They arrive and park up in the top tier car park of The Wheatsheaf Hotel in Baslow as agreed with Shane the landlord in advance.

The car park is more or less level, no chocks needed and a beautiful view over the fields.

The Slaws enjoy a four and a half mile walk through Chatsworth Park, stoping off for coffee and cake in The Stables cafe.

Soon enough, true to form, it's time for the pub 🍻 The food is very good and the atmosphere early doors is buzzing. It quietens off and the Slaws return to Helga for a relaxing evening.

Next morning they breakfast in The Cafe on the green before heading home.
