Sony Digital Voice Recorder ICD-PX with External Mic

Review of Sony Digital Voice Recorder ICD-PX with External Microphone and lavalier mic. The recorder has 4 different quality modes. In this video I test each of the four modes. They range from "SHQ" (Super High Quality) to "LP" (Long Play.) The lowest quality, LP is a complete disaster, and wrecks the audio quality. It is obvious in the video.

For my recording I use the "HQ" (High Quality) mode. That works great.I use Low Mic Sensitivity and also turn on the LCF (Low Cut Filter.) It reduces the wind noise somewhat, although not entirely.

If you connect ear buds, you can monitor your recording. This works great, and there is NO delay in the earbuds.
