यसरी बन्दैछ विर्तामोड || Birtamod
Birtamod is one of the six municipalities of Far-East district. The municipality is also known as trading center of entire Jhapa district. Since it connects East-West highway, it is an important commercial center of Jhapa. This is probably why Birtamod is also referred as heart of Jhapa.

सुदुरपूर्वको जिल्ला झापाका ८ नगरपालिका मध्येको एक हो, विर्तामोड । यो नगरपालिका झापा जिल्लाको प्रसिद्ध व्यापारिक केन्द्र समेत हो । पूर्व–पश्चिम जोडने राजमार्गमा पर्ने यो बजार झापा जिल्लाको महत्वपूर्ण वाणिज्य केन्द्र हो । सायद यही कारण बिर्तामोडलाई झापाको मुटुपनि भनिन्छ ।
