Tagelharpa. The bowed lyre, or the bowed harp is specific to the Scandinavian and Baltic regions. An instrument that origins from the early medieval times (at least) and can be explained as a lyre played with a bow. The instrument has a specifically strong tradition in Finland (Jouhikko) and possess and very distinct sound.
