Great News! Australia Skilled Worker Visa Big Changes 2023 | Australia Work Permit

Are you aware that the skilled worker wage threshold for Australia is being lifted as the government will rewrite Australia's immigration system, with almost every Visa category up for Change?

A road to permanent residence will be established for around 17,000 temporary employees, and the minimum pay requirement for skilled workers—which has been locked for a decade—will be immediately raised.

A significant evaluation commissioned by the government concluded that the system was complicated, ineffective, and rigid and recommended rewriting the Visa classes in addition to other issues that had grown over time.

The system was not up to the challenge of resolving the worst labor crisis Australia has had since World War II, according to home affairs minister Clare O'Neil.

The minister claimed that despite this, Australia provided minimal incentives to address these shortfalls. She emphasized that currently, nurses who received their training abroad must spend up to $20,000 and wait up to 35 months for their credentials to be recognized and their visas to be approved.
