Florian Lennert talks about his vision of an intelligent city for the next century. Lennert is Director, Intelligent City Forum and Head of International Programmes at the Innovation Centre for Mobility and Societal Research (InnoZ) GmbH in Berlin. He is also Associate Director of LSE Enterprise Ltd, the venture, consulting and knowledge transfer division of the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). Florian is a co-founder of the LSE Grantham Research Institute for Climate and Environment and was a Visiting Fellow at the Institute from 2007-2011.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event.
