Let's crank the sensitivity of Nikon's Z6 and put on some fast lenses, because here's some footage shot from the Cumbres and Toltec's 'Victorian Iron Horse Roundup' in August 2021.

Follow along as we catch recently restored Denver and Rio Grande ten-wheeler (4-6-0) No. 168 pull a train of restored passenger equipment from Chama New Mexico to the summit at the end of the 14 mile, 4% grade, at Cumbres Colorado. Along with the famed T-12, which was restored by a crew of Cumbres and Toltec employees led by Stathi Pappas in the railroad's Antonito Shops, is the Durango Railway Historical Society's Denver and Rio Grande Western 2-8-0 No. 315 backdated to its original Denver and Rio Grande appearance as No. 425. This run would eventually end in Antonito Colorado early the next morning and was the final event of the VIHR on the C&TS, but our final shot will catch it under the rising waning moon.

And I need to be sure to give a big shoutout to Paul Springowski who actually provided some of the lighting in the Chama Yard and at Dalton to light up these scenes. In addition, after his light setup died, the others at Coxo Crossing who trained their headlights down the right of way to get the train with light on it.
