A horse back scouting trip into the South San Juan Wilderness area of Colorado. We were planning another pack trip into this area and decided to scout the area out in late fall. The trees were in all their glory of color. We scouted Elk Creek Trail to the second meadow and Duck Lake Trails. The fall colors did not disappoint us, we will return for a much longer pack trip next summer.
