MODX Jazz Combo Performances

MODX is a creative tool. Like its ancestor MOTIF it has a wonderful feature that can evoke your creativity, the arpeggiator.
Here I introduce some jazz combo styles that can be used for practicing, jamming and even gigging. The vividness of the sounds is impressive. Especially the acoustic bass is great, I think. Listening closely you‘ll hear that sort of AI in the MODX arpeggios even adds very human-like pitch variation in some bass lines, a lot of fun.

To get an idea of the sound quality, use good headphones (always a good idea) or plug your device to your stereo, or just load the performance from Soundmondo into your MODX and judge then. This would be the best choice, anyway, because re-encoding of the soundfiles through video editing software and YouTube upload compromises sound quality, especially the vibrancy and spaciousness.

Audio recording: Cubase 8 (comes with MODX) or Multitrack DAW (iOS). Video editing: Magix Video Pro (Windows).

Any part of the performance, for example the piano, can be stored as a separate patch and used as independent sound if you like so. That means that we have here also a collection of additional MODX piano patches, mostly variations of the Yamaha S6, and a CP80.
