MODX LA Synth Sounds

When1987 the Roland D-50 was introduced to the synthesizer market, one could hear the characteristic sound of the linear algorithmic (LA) synthesis all over the place in pop music productions. Until now it has a lot of fans, and in the meantime there are also software synth versions of the D-50 available.
While the D-50 only offered 4 partials, short single samples and a limited number of filters and effects (what was revolutionary back in that days), the modern Yamaha MODX synthesizer (and its big brother Montage) offer much more in any aspect.
Nonetheless, it would be not the best idea simply to copy the old D-50 sounds. Instead of this, I tried to use the features of the MODX to create new sounds using the idea of combining samples with synth waves. To be honest -- some lean closely to the originals, because the original sounds were very good indeed and some of us want to have the typical sounds without having to buy a vintage D-50.
The resulting patches are single-part patches to be easily integrated in your performances without using too much space.
