Restorative Traffic Circles (RTC) were started in December 2021 by the Fort Collins Municipal Court Probation Department. RTC provides young people (ages 20 and under), who have been cited for serious traffic misdemeanors and infractions in Fort Collins Municipal Court, with an option to deal with their charge(s) in a meaningful way. Participants learn how their community is affected by serious traffic offenses by listening to an educational panel, performing community service and completing projects to give back to the community, their families and themselves. Ultimately, the goal of the program is to educate and change driving behavior. Produced by the City of Fort Collins FCTV.
