5x DeLaval VMS™ V300 milking robot, Cow Cooling and milk cooling - Serge Boonen, Luxembourg

In Luxembourg's Waldbillig, Serge Boonen has been managing a mixed farm for three years. In recent years, Serge has built a completely new barn with a focus on labour efficiency, sustainability and cow comfort. At the moment we are still milking 280 cows, but I want to grow to 330 dairy cows. We currently do this with five VMS V300 milking robots and we already have the place ready for the sixth robot."

Consideration has been given to cow comfort with the Cow Cooling system. Comfort for co-workers has also been considered. Thanks to 2 OptiDuo feed pusher robots, this has been met.

When building the barn and selecting his suppliers, Serge carefully considered the sustainability aspect. A total energy-saving DeLaval milk cooling system was therefore chosen.
