On the 12th of September 2008, Joe Longthorne fulfilled his promise to give a concert worthy of the Gods at the ancient amphitheatre of Kourion in Cyprus.

In a 2 hour show he gave his all as he delivered the performance of a lifetime to the capacity crowd. Opening with Streisand's 'Somewhere', he held the closing note for an eternity and placed the audience firmly in the palm of his hand.

Following 'Let Me Try Again' and 'September in the Rain', he launched into his repertoire of impressions with flawless likeness to a host of international stars; Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jr, Tony Bennet, Judy Garland, Shirley Bassey and Tom Jones to name a few.

A staggering medley of legendary piano players like Stevie Wonder, Ray Charles and Jerry Lewis followed, yielding the first of many standing ovations.

Ever the consummate performer, Joe used every inch of the 2500 year old venue, climbing into the amphitheatre seating, only to be engulfed by adoring fans.

The show closed with an incredible Elvis Presley medley, culminating in 'American Trilogy', paying testament to the dramatic ancient setting.

An encore of 'If I Never Sing Another Song' brought the entire audience to their feet in an overwhelming standing ovation as he left the stage.
