TRIP REPORT | Prague to Budapest in Couchette | EuroNight Metropol Sleeper train | Czech Railways

I travelled from Prague to Budapest aboard Euronight Metropol sleeper train. This service is operated by České dráhy. For this journey I tried a couchette accommodation. On this route are in operation Bcmz couchettes built by Jenbacher Werke in 1981. These couchettes are now under observation due to suspicion of a design fault at the request of RegioJet, which also operated these cars.
UPDATE INFO:
- Currently there's only one couchette car operated between Prague and Budapest (instead of 2 cars).
- ČD couchettes passed stress tests in July and met the conditions.
