TRIP REPORT | New ComfortJet train for Czech Railways | InterCity Ostravan | Prague to Ostrava

I travelled aboard a brand new ComfortJet set, delivered to ČD Czech Railways. This is the first regular service of these non-traction units. These sets are based on the Siemens Viaggio Comfort platform, similar as Railjet or InterJet trains. In summer 2024 these trains will start to operate on cross-border services between Prague and Berlin, and in the future on routes between Prague and Hamburg, Copenhagen, Vienna, Villach and Budapest.
