You need to play the source files (below) on a real studio system to hear the subtle difference in converters. YouTube crippled my 96kHz uploaded audio down to an atrocious 256kbps 44.1kHz AAC. Although admittedly my test is not ideal, it was enough for me personally to hear the difference and make a decision to upgrade all my units.
