Short Staffing Crisis in Hospitals (Ft. Kaitlynd and Katherine)

Описание к видео Short Staffing Crisis in Hospitals (Ft. Kaitlynd and Katherine)

Kaitlynd and Katherine are both well rounded registered nurses that have encountered some of the worse management of staffing in their hospital and have been fighting tooth and nail with such grit to achieve justice in supplying adequate staff in all units of the hospital to safely take care of patients. Many hospitals, nursing facilities, long term acute care facilities, and even private companies are suffering from a massive staffing shortage of medical professionals, more specifically, nurses. This causes the current workforce of nurses to take on more tasks than they can adequately and effectively execute, ultimately risking patients' lives.

In this episode we discuss the many problems that can arise when a facility does not adequately staff the units, why this is such a common occurrence, how we can reignite our passion for nursing, what hospitals were like before, during and after the COVID pandemic and much more.
