Idaho has nine "12ers" which is a mountain that is 12,000 feet or higher up until 12,999 feet. Hyndman is Idaho's smallest 12er at just 12,009 feet.

This hike took 14 hours after both Little Wolf and Bear Tooth got altitude sickness at the top of the mountain. Coming down was slow going over boulders and coming down the scree and Little Wolf was throwing up.
