Straw Pressing at Wheat Harvest, Profitable Sale of Silage Bales | HORSCH AgroVation | FS 22 | #05

Welcome back to the HORSCH AgroVation Farm Timelapse. Our wheat field is fully mature and primed for harvesting. To kickstart the process, we deploy our CLAAS LEXION 8900 combine, expertly backed by a FENDT 936 VARIO tractor equipped with a HAWE ULW 4000 auger trailer. Ensuring smooth transportation, our MAN TGX truck, equipped with two KRAMPE trailers, stands ready to efficiently transport the harvested crop to the mill.
While our combine tackles the wheat harvest, we dispatch a FENDT 724 VARIO tractor paired with a FENDT ROTANA 180 XTRA-V baler to the field to commence baling the straw. Consequently, as the wheat harvest draws to a close, we seamlessly deliver the grain to the mill while simultaneously pressing the straw into compact bales.
We attach an ANDERSON GROUP RBM 2000 bale stacker and make our way to the silage bales. These are swiftly collected and transported to our designated point of sale. Additionally, we gather the remaining straw bales from the field, temporarily storing them in our yard while we determine the most suitable course of action.
