An event I always enjoy attending and this year despite the weather the variety of preserved and service vehicles attenting the 2022 NWVRT Annual Running Day, did not disappoint! Here we have footage mostly recorded towards the end of the day circulating around the vicinity of the North West Vehicle Restoration Trust premises in Kirkby. A truly fascinating collection of different buses from yesteryear making plenty of noise and plenty of acclaim from hundreds of attendees. A very large collection of Leyland vehicles feature in this video and how very fitting to continue the Leyland National 50 (LN50) Celebrations with a good chunk of these attending! The event was also significantly well supported by Arriva with 6 different buses attending from 6 different depots.
