Are Crop Sensors Even Worth It Anymore?

Canon and Sony have come out with very small full frame cameras. They are light and cheap. Canon R8, Sony ZVE1 or A7C II. Ok Sony is never cheap, but aps-c and micro four thirds cameras are often more expensive and heavier. What is the point?
