ZURÜCK IN DER ZEIT: ein Besuch bei TANTE EMMA - ein kompletter Laden & Privatzimmer 🔎 Lost Place

Wenn Tante Emma einen Laden hätte, was würde sie wohl verkaufen? Schuhe, Zahnpasta, Dosensuppe, Zeitschriften – einfach alles, was die Menschen brauchen. Die Bezeichnung Tante-Emma-Laden entstand in den 50er Jahren. Damals gab es in jedem Dorf einen kleinen Laden. In dem stand die Verkäuferin hinter der Ladentheke und bediente ihre Kunden noch persönlich. In den 80er Jahren wurden immer mehr große Supermärkte eröffnet, und die klassischen Tante-Emma-Läden mussten schließen.

Für uns geht in dieser Folge ein Traum in Erfüllung: im dritten Anlauf schaffen wir es endlich in einen dieser verlassenen Tante Emma-Laden, der noch immer ein breites Sortiment an Waren bereithält – von der Dosensuppe bis zur Zahnpasta. Aber auch die Wohnung darüber sowie der Speicher wissen uns zu begeistern, zeichnen sie doch ein spannendes Bild einer religiösen belgischen Familie …

Wieder einmal entpuppt sich unser Ausflug als eine Reise zurück in der Zeit!!!

If Aunt Emma had a shop, what would she sell? Shoes, toothpaste, canned soup, magazines - just everything that people need. The name Aunt Emma store was created in the 50s. At that time a small shop existed in each village. In it, the saleswoman stood behind the counter and served her customers personally. In the 80s, more and more large supermarkets were opened, and the classic mom-and-pop stores had to close.

In this episode, a dream comes true for us: on the third attempt, we finally make it into one of these abandoned convenience stores, which still offers a wide range of goods - from canned soup to toothpaste. But also the apartment above and the attic are worth a visit, because they paint an exciting picture of a religious Belgian family ...

Once again, our trip turns out to be a journey back in time !!!
